Hi there! How exciting… My very first blog post!  Allow me to tell you a little bit about me and my love, and what my hopes are for this blog.
My name is Mary.  My husband Jackson & I are very happily married. We have three spunky, beautiful, amazing children! I’m a working mom who adores her job, and adores her children. We are very involved in our town, our family, our church. We have been blissfully married for 12 years, and we are head over heels, madly in love with each other.
We are very open people. We enjoy engaging in all kinds of varied activities, and I’m sure I’ll blog about our eclectic tastes and pursuits.
The point of this blog, however, is for me to be able to talk about the part of me that most people don’t know about- our domestic discipline relationship (DD)
What Is DD?  The basic principle  of DD encompasses a dominant as the leader (the Dom or hoh if you will). The Dom has a sub who consents to obey him, and accept discipline from him if she does not. This can vary quite a bit, but almost always involves spanking. Kinda 1950’s housewife… With a modern twist. Each relationship will be unique and that is part of the beauty of it!
Why follow this type of relationship? For us, it was a gentle progression, starting with BDSM In the bedroom. I will get to more on all of that another time.
Jackson is my hoh, my Dom, my leader. He is everything to me, from his gentle blue-grey eyes to the strong hand holding a strap…
I am his submissive. I AM HIS. I’m a strong, intelligent, working mom… I keep our house running and activities organized.  I have a professional job, that can be fairly stressful (but I love it!) sometimes, the stress of life just gets to be too much. Sometimes I want someone else to make the decisions. Sometimes I want someone else to take the reigns and hold me to a high standard, be there to keep me accountable and punish me if I misbehave! He does… And it’s beautiful.
This blog will talk about us… Our DD relationship, our toe dippings into the BDSM world, what makes us tick.
I have to go for now, but I look forward to spending some time sharing a story and a cup of coffee with you.
